Summary

In a land burning with the flames of betrayal, a lone sword seeks justice… and that sword bears the name "Henry."

Gates of Hell: Henry’s Journey Begins

In 1403, the kingdom of Bohemia is crushed under the shadow of tyranny and civil war. After the death of Emperor Charles IV, his son Wenceslas proves an unworthy ruler, while his half-brother, Sigismund of Hungary, claims the throne by force.

Amid this chaos, in the village of Skalitz, the blacksmith’s son Henry lives a simple life — until mercenary forces attack his village, slaughter his family, and burn his future to ashes.

From Blacksmith to Knight: The Harsh Path of Vengeance

Henry, a wounded survivor fueled by rage, enters the service of Sir Radzig Kobyla, one of the last loyal knights of the rightful crown. He must train, convince the nobles, uncover conspiracies, and ultimately carve his path through blood and honor.

But the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is not kind to any hero — this is the law of the Middle Ages, not fairy tales. To achieve justice, one must be a politician, a swordsman, a scholar, and a diplomat.

Merciless Realism: No Magic in This Land

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is built on historical accuracy. In this world, there are no dragons or magic. Wounds, hunger, disease, politics, and faith are all part of Henry’s reality.

  • Sword combat is heavy and realistic.
  • Conversations have long-term consequences.
  • Clothing, food, and social reputation play a crucial role.
  • There are no easy paths to success.

Battle for Truth: Shadows, Betrayal, and Legend

Throughout his journey, Henry faces a variety of enemies: treacherous nobles, mysterious monks, and even his own inner doubts. He must uncover not only the truth behind his family’s death but also the hidden political schemes within the kingdom.

Will his quest for vengeance lead to justice, or will he become the very thing he despises?

Epic Features of Kingdom Come: Deliverance

  • A historically accurate story with meticulous attention to detail
  • Realistic sword and armor combat system
  • Open world filled with impactful side quests
  • Strong character development, especially for Henry, Sir Radzig, and Sir Hanush
  • Consideration of human factors such as fatigue, hunger, reputation, and skills
