Summary

In a World Full of Shadows, a Hero Returns from the Ashes

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, released in 2002 by Raven Software and LucasArts, tells the story of a returnee who was both Jedi and renegade, now shouldering the fate of the galaxy:

Kyle Katarn.

Neither Jedi nor Sith… Yet Shaping Destiny

Kyle Katarn no longer wields a lightsaber.
After the events of Jedi Knight, he distanced himself from the Force and returned to a normal life.
But betrayal, the death of a friend, and the rise of a dark threat named Desann force him to pick up the lightsaber again and walk the path of the Jedi.

A Journey Across the Galaxy and Into Darkness

In this third-person and first-person action game, players follow Kyle’s return as a Jedi.
Travel to planets such as:

  • Yavin IV
  • Bespin
  • Nar Shaddaa
  • The deadly Kejim

Players fight not only imperial forces and dark mercenaries, but also confront the inner battles within themselves.

Lightsaber, Force Powers, and Inner Conflict

One of the game’s strengths is its realistic and deep lightsaber combat.
Players can choose from various fighting styles and combine them with Force powers like:

  • Push
  • Pull
  • Lightning
  • Mind Trick

to shine on the battlefield.

A Battle for Faith, Not Power

Jedi Outcast is more than an action game.
It is the journey of a man toward his lost faith.
Kyle must decide:
Will he use the Force for vengeance, or for salvation?

A Knight Who Returned and Changed the Future

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is not only a worthy continuation of the Jedi Knight series,
but also one of the deepest, most impactful, and epic Star Wars games.
A character trapped between darkness and light in a universe where nothing is absolute.
